Church Staff

Garry has lived in the Midwest for 25 years, 15 of those being in Peoria. He has been married to his long-suffering wife, Joy, for 33+ years as well as having four children who are scattered around the country. 

Tom has been married to Kelly since 2001 and has attended Calvary since 1998. Tom and Kelly have three sons and one cat. He is a lifetime resident of Peoria and works as an industrial electrician.

Tom has been an elder since 2024 and serves in our Youth Group Ministry.

Tom is also a volunteer with the Saints Prison Ministry softball teams since 2011. The Saints travel the country playing slow pitch softball in prison and sharing the Gospel with those who are incarcerated. 

My name is Bethany Hurn.  I have been the part-time church secretary since November of 2015.  My educational background is in Psychology & Social Services, so QuickBooks & doing taxes have been an ongoing learning experience!
I have been married to my husband, Dan, since Oct. of 1995.  We have 2 adult sons, Jared & Cody.  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family & friends, travelling (especially to scenic places like our national parks & beaches or historical sites), playing board & card games, going out to eat & watching movies…or any combination of the above!  I like being out in nature on walks, hikes, bike rides or drives.  I enjoy flowers & animals.  Purple is my favorite color & fall is my favorite season.
